Inspired by CellDweller's "Own Little World". There is a story behind this pic, but it's got so much depth that there is an entire book to go with it. If it's ever going to made into anything other than a book, that song will be the opening. CellDweller and Frank Miller were the biggest inspirations for the book. I liked the appearance of Klayton and the extras in his original "Switchback" video so much that the entire population of my book dresses like that in one way or another. Frank Miller inspired the plot to some extent, and a lot of the action. But really, it is a fight over the world.



Now, about the picture...In the book I'm writing, Virgil is a private investigator working for an anti-governmental organization that's fighting a fearfully fascist government which punishes each and every crime with the same sentence: death. Because of this, the convicts who haven't been exterminated are forced to live in alleys and various other parts of the city that aren't being watched. The organization that Virgil works for employs these criminals, since they can't do anything else. However, there is a minority among the criminals who would rather rat out this organization to the dictator in charge, rather than take a paying job and fighting for a just cause (In lesser terms "Stickin it to tha man"). So, what does this organization do with the defectors? It isn't pretty, but you can clearly see what happens here. This is Virgil's least favorite task in this organization, and it's thankfully not always his duty.
