Bune and his lover

This was a little challenge to myself that failed.
I was planning on finishing it but the more i looked at it the more stiff and unnatural Bune in the background looked. I had a lot of trouble with the perspective and the posing here, and I feel like Bune is standing a little crooked and not fully upright.

Not only that, bust the two characters look completely separate. I'm not sure how I did it but I drew a character that looks like she doesn't belong in the picture.

The little cutie up front is the star of this picture. And yes that's a male. Because I like really men who shrink their waists down with corsets.

I'll move this into scraps later.

ANYHOW STORY.
Bune is a demon, the 26th Duke of Hell. He's a professor of liberal sciences and a powerful demon who controls the ranking of the dead, moving them around and promoting some of them to demonic ranking. Before that he was a powerful angel from the Second Sphere of Heaven who fell in love with a nameless guardian angel from the outer sphere of heaven. When Lucifer rebelled, Bune followed but his lover did not. For billions of years they remained on opposing sides of the war, always on each others' thoughts no matter how bad things got. Bune even tried to forget about his lover by having an affair with Lucifer. When Lucifer started becoming a hypocrite to his own ideals, Bune separated. When God disappeared, he took the opportunity and made a deal with heaven. He became female human, but due to his innate knowledge on both holy and profane law, he was able to keep the bulk of his infernal powers and his ranking in hell. Recently, he also contracted his old lover to be his guardian angel.
Now they are always together, fighting against Lucifer and working to break down the totalitarian order in heaven and hell so that their relationship will not be criminalized.
